Oregon State Charitable Checkoff

This unique opportunity offers all Oregonians an easy way to contribute to the Foundation’s programs that make a tremendous difference every day and in every community. Three easy steps is all it takes to make a personal investment in the Foundation and the lives of youth and adults across our Multiple District.

1. Complete your 2012 Oregon State Income Tax Return.

2. If you receive a refund, consider investing all or a portion in Foundation programs like the Mobile Health Screening Program, Patient Care or the Hearing Aid Bank. Each dollar is leveraged into $5 - $8 dollars of direct, life changing service through a Foundation program.

3. Look for the Charitable Checkoff section on your return and mark #14. If you are filing electronically, select or enter Oregon Lions Sight & Hearing Foundation.

The Charitable Checkoff program is an important way in which your Foundation is meeting critical community needs, especially now as more than 560,000 Oregonians—52,000 of them children—live with little or no health insurance.  Now, more than ever, they are turning to the Foundation and Lions for sight, hearing and health assistance.  Help make a difference by contributing through the Charitable Check-off program this tax seasonit's the easiest New Year's resolution you'll ever make!
