Volunteers Needed for School Vision Screenings This Fall

The Oregon Lions Sight & Hearing Foundation (OLSHF), local Lions Club members and parent volunteers will screen the vision of approximately 150,000 students this year in Oregon. Up to 8 volunteers are needed per day at elementary schools to assist with vision screenings of students through an efficient screening process where up to 700 children can be screened during each event. Screenings will occur in during the school year generally in during the morning. Onsite training is provided by staff members 30 minutes before screenings begin. For schedules and locations, please see the calendar of events.
