About our Keep the Promise Breakfast:
The Oregon Lions Sight & Hearing Foundation’s Keep the Promise Breakfast is an annual event to kick off our celebrations of “Keep the Promise Days,” which take place every summer! Our Keep the Promise Days — or KTP Days — remind us of the promise that Lions made to Helen Keller in 1925 to keep their promise to become “Knights of the Blind.” Lions Clubs throughout Oregon and Northern California hold special KTP Day Events to help raise awareness of their clubs and to fundraise to continue serving their communities.
OLSHF’s KTP Breakfast is meant to be the first major celebration of these KTP Days — we hold a special breakfast event open to the community to better share our mission, the wonderful work our sight and hearing programs do, and success stories of people who have received support from the Foundation and Lions Clubs!
